Neglected and forgotten, this grove of Fir trees was planted thirty five years ago on Gary's property - with the intention of being cut for Christmas trees.
When talking about the trees, Gary says: "I'm sure the person who planted them never dreamed that someday they would be made into beautiful works of art."
The stumps are left in the ground for a year after they are cut, aging them in this manner adds brilliant color to the wood.
Gary, with one of his unfinished tulip shaped vessels is in front of next years' pieces.
